CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man is facing multiple charges of harassment.
Charges were brought by the Floyd county attorney’s office against 25-year-old Matthew John Casler of Charles City over the course of the last several weeks. Court records show Casler is accused of third-degree harassment with incidents that took place on September 1, October 1, November 1, December 1. He is also accused of second-degree harassment on December 6, 2015.
Casler was arrested by Charles City police on warrants on January 19 when they found him at the 600 block of North Iowa Street. A no-contact order was set in the case by a judge.
Casler was released from jail and awaits a hearing on February 3 and an arraignment on February 16.
