MASON CITY – A Northwood woman accused at least ten times by Mason City police of stealing is back in jail Wednesday after skipping her court date for her latest theft charge and felony drug charges.

Jessica Ellen Sturm, age 31, is facing a charge of theft in the third degree from Mason City police after an incident on August 22. She was due in court for a pre-trial conference on November 21 but failed to appear. She was arrested early Wednesday morning and jailed. She was also charged with providing false identification to the deputy who arrested her. A jury trial was set for January 6, 2015 on the theft charge.

In addition, Sturm is facing two felony drug charges at this time in Worth county. She was due in court for a pre-trial conference on November 24 but failed to appear, prompting a second arrest warrant. Records show that she pled guilty today, Wednesday, December 3.

Sturm is being held on a total of $7,300 bond.

I’m a sucker for nice looking women. She can steal from me anytime.

She would be perfectly safe with someone as disfunctional as you.

I thought you said you were gay?

Only on the weekends.
