CHARLES CITY – A North Iowa man arrested in Charles City for second offense drunk driving has pleaded not guilty.
Jordan Blunt, age 22 of Ionia, entered a written arraignment and plea of not guilty on October 13. No trial date has been set.
On September 21 at 3:47 AM, a Charles City police officer stopped a vehicle driven by Blunt. After an investigation, it was determined that Blunt was intoxicated and he was arrested and taken to jail.
A breath alcohol test performed at 4:21 AM at the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on a male subject returned results of 0.114 and 0.114.

This is a 22-year-old man. Not a kid. He is innocent until proven guilty, even if it’s the second charge. I’m just glad he didn’t kill anyone while he was driving around.

I think NIT has every right to report on a man who has been arrested 2ce for OWI. Especially when at the time of arrest his BAC was almost 1.5 times above the limit.
That is what is wrong w/ MC (well 1 thing) too many people think they themselves, their relatives, or friends should be above following the laws, being exposed as criminals, or facing the consequences for their actions.
