MASON CITY – A Mason City can sorter had a few too many and was arrested after bugging his ex.
Jeremiah James Roberts, age 24, was at the home of his ex this weekend on the evening of September 21 when he became intoxicated and started causing problems. She called police, who came to the house and arrested him for public intoxication.
Roberts, a can sorter at a redemption and recycling company in Mason City, pled guilty the next day and was ordered to pay $195 in fines and court costs.
Police said that the landlord was notified of the “founded incident” which could lead to fines.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
