CHARLES CITY – A man named after a notorious criminal allegedly lived up to a little of that reputation last week during a domestic incident.
Charles City police were called to the 1600 block of North Grand Avenue at about 7:22 PM to investigate a domestic incident. Once officers arrived, they determined that 41-year-old Jesse James Joslin of Charles City had committed a domestic assault and he was arrested and taken to jail.
Joslin was released from jail on his own recognizance the next day. He awaits a non-jury trial on August 27.
