HAMPTON – A young Hampton man was arrested Sunday morning for his third drunk driving offense, and second this year.
Hampton police arrested 21-year-old Harvey Rodriguez for second offense operating while intoxicated and cited for open container of alcohol, no insurance and insufficient headlamps.
Rodriguez pled guilty in 2012 to first offense operating while intoxicated after Hampton police arrested him. Rodriguez was sentenced to two days in jail and assessed $2,628.13 as well in fines, which he has failed to make a payment on.
In January of this year, Rodriguez was arrested by police in New Brighton, Minnesota, on a charge of 4th degree driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
