MASON CITY – A man who allegedly armed himself with a knife during a domestic dispute was arrested Sunday by police.
According to Mason City police, officers responded Sunday evening at about 10:03 PM to the 200 block South Monroe Avenue on a report of a domestic assault involving a knife.
Kyde Charles Ratliff, age 49, was found there and arrested on a charge of aggravated domestic assault after attacking his girlfriend. Ratliff was also charged with aggravated assault for allegedly attacking another person who was at the residence during the altercation.
Police said there did not appear to be any serious injuries from the incident.
Ratliff was jailed on no bond until he sees a judge.
