As America continues to diminish its presence in Afghanistan, the political pundits are now saying that the United States has two choices for ending the war in Afghanistan:
1) Continue to pull out all the troops now and end the war, leaving the Afghans to themselves
or
2) Negotiate with the Taliban – the radical trainers of terrorists around the world – and give them a role in the leadership in Afghanistan and hope for a lasting, sustainable peace
What is your opinion on the best way for America to get out of the war in Afghanistan with honor and victory?
pull out them towl heads have been throwing rocks at each other for two thousand years we’re not going to stop it its a sad deal for alot of those people but were not going to stop it its in gods hands we have people in this country starving and in desperate need lets fund that cause it would b a win win
I, will never dishonor any service man/women, that willingly steps up to the plate and does the job they are trained and sent to do. The US will never have a true victory over the Taliban, unless we kill them all. Like I’ve said before, they have been killing each other for thousands of years and we’re not going to stop them, case in point, Iraq. We need to get out now, before we lose more people.
Let’s think this through –
(1) leave the country to the Afghans; outcome – a bloodbath for those that collaborated with us and little girls shot for going to school; or
(2) Negotiate with Islamic terrorists who are willing to come to any agreement that lessens their exposure and then abrogate the agreement because that is allowed in the Koran as the way to deal with one’s enemy.
In other words, they will lie and feel good about it afterwards because their prophet said its ok; outcome – a bloodbath for those that collaborated with us and little girls shot for going to school.
Sounds like a lose-lose deal to me.
