Two Osage men arrested on warrants

OSAGE – On March 27, 2013, two arrest warrants were served by the Howard County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Osage Police Department on Osage residents, Tyler Lee Roe, age 21 and Phillip John Smith, age 20. Both were arrested for Robbery in the First Degree stemming from an armed robbery in Elma, Iowa.

Two search warrants were also executed at 1202 Ash Street, Osage, Iowa. Assisting the Osage Police Department with the search were the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol. Additional charges and arrests were filed.

Tyler Lee Roe, age 21 – Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Phillip John Smith, age 20 – Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Melissa Ann Pinard, age 19 – Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Additional charges are pending and subjects are being held at the Mitchell County Jail.

The men are innocent until proven guilty.
