MASON CITY – A business decision was ultimately the undoing of the Fred Meyers jewelry store in Southbridge Mall.
Keith Dailey, Director of Media Relations for Kroger Company, said Thursday that “Our Fred Meyer Jewelers in Southbridge Mall was no longer profitable, therefore we made the business decision to close that location.”
Southbridge Mall Manager T.J. Just says he is working to fill the soon-to-be vacant space. Just says the rent for the space is negotiable and he is working with new, prospective tenants at this time. He could not say what Fred Meyer was paying for the spot.
Well, that’s usually the reason..lol
