WATERLOO – On January 30, 2013, at 2:55 AM, Waterloo Police arrested Scott Edward Schrage, age 28, of 1148 Lincoln Street, Waterloo at his residence without incident. He is charged with Willful Serious Injury. He taken to the Black Hawk County Jail and held on $50,000.00 bond.
Schrage’s arrested is in connection to an incident that took place on Monday, January 28, 2013 at approximately 10:50 PM, when Waterloo Police were dispatched to 133 Lobdell Road on report of a stabbing and shooting.
Upon arrival officers found two injured people:
Harold W.P. Adams, age 25, of 133 Lobdell Road, had a laceration to his forehead.
Kenneth R. Horton, age 50, of 133 Lobdell Road, had lacerations to his hands.
They were taken to Covenant Medical Center by private vehicle.
According to witnesses, Schrage used a utility knife to cut the victims. The suspect slashed all four tires on a Ford Van parked outside and fired a shot from a handgun before leaving the area on foot. The suspect has not been located.
The victim injuries were non-life threatening.
I read some guy in Tupalo Tenn. cut himself on a paring knife. A woman in Timbucktoo burned herself on an iron. A guy in Whogivesarats shot himself in the foot. Wonder what’s happening in other cities 100 miles away nobody gives a rats about?

We also have to form a task force to study how we can protect those vehicle tires from being cut in the future. “If we could save just one tire, it will be worth it!”
When will we learn?? We must get these utility knives out of the hands of criminals. Think of the children!
Sharp objects should be banned. Bullets are sharp just like knives and box cutters. If there was a law against removing knives from a kitchen, people’s lives would be saved, just as there should be a law for removing bullets from a firing range.
Oh my God-A Utility Knife was used. We had better ban those suckers right now.
