MASON CITY – The Mason City Fire Department will be hosting a cancer fundraiser this month.
The Pink Heals Tour will be at the MCFD on August 29th from 4-8 PM.
The Pink Heals Tour features pink firetrucks that tour the nation to celebrate women.
“This year the fire department is honored to have the Pink Heals Tour coming to Mason City,” the MCFD said in a news release.
The public can come and see the trucks and sign them.
“This event is not just about women with breast cancer but women with all types of cancer,” the MCFD said. “We are selling our shirts for 10 dollars and all proceeds will go to the Mason City Cancer Center.”
