Volunteers at “Victory Office” help with “Operation Send Off”

by Matt Marquardt –

MASON CITY -Volunteers at the Cerro Gordo County Republican Party Headquarters, what Republicans refer to as the “Victory Office,” are pitching in to keep the spirits of our troops  high.

Volunteers there are seeking items for care packages for troops in “Operation Send Off.”

A Mason City woman, Gaye, was at the Victory Office on Thursday afternoon. “I brought books,” she said. The books were from her home.

Items are being accepted all the way until August 30th.  The care packages will be sent to Iowa troops. Any items you would like to donate can be brought to 1314 4th Street SW suite 204. If you have questions, you may email Martha Gravlee at gravlee@iowagop.org or call 641-210-9907.
