In response to Evelyn Ganzglass, by Larrey Loeckle

Ms. Evelyn Ganzglass is proposing Socialism, which are failed policies of Obama and the Democrats. She writes:

Two strategies they could implement are work sharing and subsidized jobs.

These socialistic ideas that are funded by tax dollars. This money is badly needed to create permanent private sector jobs.

Ms. Ganzglass ideas will kill jobs and promote unemployment like Obama’s policies have currently done.

History teaches us that Federal tax cuts would lead to job creation. It also has to be followed with Federal spending cuts.

The big problem in this country is that we’re still losing good-paying jobs that made up the middle of America. Thirty years ago 21 percent of the country was involved in manufacturing. Now it’s 9%.

Cheap foreign labor is not the only reason that sent jobs overseas. To many American jobs have been shipped overseas due to our current tax rates on businesses. Countries that are adding jobs have reduced their taxes on business and taken our jobs. We are in competition for these jobs and high taxes in American is the number one reason we are losing jobs to our foreign competitors.

Take the corporate tax, which is 35 percent on manufacturers, and cut that to zero.

Eliminate the corporate tax if you manufacture and process here in this country. That will bring a lot of those jobs back.

Also combine that with a plan that says if you are a manufacturer that actually did export jobs and created things and built things overseas and you made profits, we will reduce the current tax rate of 35% on your profits when you bring that money back to America to 5% so they will start investing in America for job creation.

We need to repatriate all the money that has gone overseas!

Another big issue is that the countries that went out and competed for those jobs not only cut taxes but they also cut regulations. They did the things to attract businesses over there, as well as having lower wage rates.

Lots of manufacturers in this country do not want to send their jobs overseas. We need to create a tax environment, an energy environment, and a regulatory environment that allows them to be competitive here.
