The City of Dubuque ordered the removal of a tarp that covered the “Solidarity” mural on the exterior of the Five Flags Center before trump’s Sunday rally. That is courage. Go Dubuque!
Cerro Gordo spending over 1/2 million and nobody calls them out? Numerous vehicle repair places instead of issuing one contract for repair? come on

The trump administration just allowed an undocumented immigrant into our country along with his family. Their passports were voided by their home country so they were not supposed to leave. But they did and were granted admission to the US. I thought that kind of thing was what MAGAs were against.

Here is what Harris told phone-banking volunteers in Portsmouth when asked to explain her Senate experience:
“I was a United States senator, so I know what happens in those rooms. In those rooms there are conversations that happen, where it’s important for certain people to stand up and speak, to help at least encourage a certain conscience about what we should care about, in terms of the work we do in the halls of Washington, D.C., and with some clarity about how it will actually play out in the streets of America.”

The U.S. population is:
1% – Muslim
1% – Transgender
4% – undocumented immigrants
Yet this 6% of our population makes up 100% of Republican talking points this election.
They are blamed for 100% of our country’s problems yet fixing these problems are 100% on our politicians who do nothing but complain.

Substantial evidence gathered over the past four years demonstrates that the federal government, along with congressional and private-sector partners, attempted to shield the Biden family from revelations regarding its foreign business endeavors and Hunter Biden’s unlawful actions.
Memos released Thursday by the White House Government Transparency Task Force revealed a new chapter in the saga. They show that the FBI and State Department moved in September 2020 to keep Ukrainian witness Andrii Telizhenko from meeting with Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who were investigating Biden family business in Ukraine and China,Just the News first reported yesterday.

Vivek Ramaswamy put up a very powerful Ad about a mother saying that her daughter, Amy Acton, who is running for Governor of Ohio, is a liar, and much worse. The Press, in a concerted and well coordinated attack, is trying to get Vivek Ramaswamy to “take down the Ad.” Frankly, anybody whose mother spoke about a daughter in that way would normally lead to the daughter being precluded from serving in Office, let alone the Office of Governor. If my mother, the legendary Mary MacLeod Trump, said anything bad about me, the Fake News would play it up. The Dumocrats would be totally supportive, and it would go down as the Ad of the Decade — Maybe the Century! It would win Awards for Excellence in Advertising. But, because Vivek, who will be a GREAT Governor, put it out, the “Artificial” News has teamed up against him in order to damage, demean, and embarrass a Republican who is leading in the Polls. Our RINO Governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine, who I unfortunately helped get elected years ago, when he was losing by 16 points prior to my doing a Rally for him was, as usual, disloyal to the Republican Party. He strongly suggested that Vivek should, “take down the Ad.” He probably wants a Dumocrat to win, and certainly doesn’t want someone who will do a much better job than he is capable of doing. I suggested, on the other hand, that Vivek should keep it up, and let everyone listen to the mother of a defective, dishonest, and incapable Candidate, explain how the daughter is a DISASTER who, uncontrollably, lies, cheats, and steals! I only wish the mothers of my opponents would be so brave as to come forward and explain that their son or daughter is a liar, and much worse. That took a lot of courage to do but, essentially, what she was really doing was saving Ohio from making a truly horrible choice! The Press is trying to convince everyone that this Ad is bad, because it’s so good! Who wouldn’t use such an Ad? I would, it’s called, “hitting pay dirt.” The fact is, Lyin’ Amy Acton, who I’ve never even heard of before, has been lying about Vivek for the entire Campaign. I know the real Vivek, he is a brilliant and outstanding person who will cut Taxes, stop Crime and, MAKE OHIO GREAT AGAIN. He will be a fantastic Governor! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Trump is a very bad man and an even worse leader of our country. Amy Acton’s mother lost custody of her when she was 14 because mommie dearest allowed Amy’s stepfather to sexually abuse her. And trump thinks mommy is a good person. He is sick.

Iowa GOP Lieutenant Governor Candidate Derek Wulf, running mate for Zach Lahn, has been alleged to owe $275,000 to his parents for unpaid farmland rent according to court documents filed on Tuesday October 20. That puts them in line and stakes a claim in the $3.1+ million worth of debt payments that bankruptcy court creditors are seeking. None of this is good news for the Lahn campaign. But even worse, Lahn’s campaign spokesperson makes a vile inference about Wulf’s father in an email response to the Des Moines Register published today, Thursday October 22. “Sadly, Derek’s father has experienced serious health and memory issues in recent years,” the spokesperson, Dan Capodilupo, said. “It’s painful for Derek to admit, but his father’s understanding of the situation is simply incorrect.” Derek Wulf did not return a call seeking comment Wednesday. But a spokesperson for his running mate, Republican gubernatorial nominee Zach Lahn, said in an email that Derek Wulf does not owe his parents rent. Reached by phone on Wednesday, Jackie Wulf declined to comment. The couple’s attorney, Matt Craft, later said in an email that Jackie and Duane Wulf “are incredibly hurt by those categorically false statements concerning Duane’s health.” The Imply-It’s-Dementia-And-Throw-His-Dad-Under-The-Bus guy is Zach Lahn’s Communications Director Dan Capodilupo, a twenty-something DOGE Bros-esgue East Coast political insider job hopper/climber who has been around the DC right wing block since graduating from Ithaca College five years ago. His resume almost mirrors Lahn’s own work around the country for Americans for Prosperity and conservative campaigns that he would just like you to call “business” experience. It also mirrors the trajectory of US House District 2 GOP candidate, Joe, The Talented Mr. Mitchell, who I’ve written about in other posts. Capodilupo’s resume includes Communications stints with JD Vance, former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, the Department of Homeland Security during the Kristi Noem and Markwayne Mullins eras, and with the conservative National Public Affairs LLC founded by Trump campaign strategists like Bill ‘Bridgegate’ Stepian. Presumably he comes with a high price tag paid for by someone presumably somewhere else than Iowa. In Iowa, Character Counts, and while Lahn has touted his Wichita Wonder School experience and its “Character-Building Education Model”, most Iowans will see this whole campaign as a failure of character. And this family feud is a Shakespearean tragedy. The best we can hope for is that this whole Zach Lahn GOP Iowa Governor campaign charade will fold like a cheap suit and traveling salesmen political hacks like Lahn and Capodilupo will leave town like the carnival barkers they are and move on after this election. Fly away. Just fly away. David Campbell

Speaking in Seoul, South Korea this week, Harris told a foreign audience that American elections are being stolen.
“There has been overt cheating happening around the elections process,” she said, “whether it be the purging of the voter rolls or redrawing districts outside of the season when that would happen.” The Rules Only Apply to RepublicansFor four years, the word “election denier” was the most powerful social weapon in the Democratic arsenal.
Say the 2020 election was stolen, and you were a traitor to democracy.
Question a single vote count, and you were January 6th.
Suggest that voter rolls might include ineligible voters – something the DHS confirmed with hard numbers – and you were spreading “dangerous misinformation.”
The same Democrats who prosecuted that standard have spent the last decade doing exactly what they accused Trump of doing.
Hillary Clinton called the 2016 election “stolen” and described Trump as an “illegitimate” president.

trump just decided that Russia’s interests are more important than our security. He just waived all sanctions against Russia that he had signed into law a month ago. Why would he do that? Putin’s right hand advisor, Kirill Dmitriev, posted “checkmate” after trump did so further cementing the idea that trump no longer will do what is best for the US. He will side with Putin every time. The man is totally off the rails.

Elon Musk has ‘donated’ over $600 million since 2024 to f irst help trump get re-elected and recently to help Republicans in their bid for House, Senate, Governorships and state rep seats. Why would he spend so much money to help a political party? Could it be the billions of dollars his companies have in government contracts? Or could it be because republicans helped him become the first trillionaire in world history? Or is he just a dick? Probably, all three.

Kyle Lewter, trump supporter, Alabama Young Republican county vice chair, and campaign chairperson for Republican Senator Tom Butler and trump supporter, was arrested for murder and sexual torture in August.
Public executions will now be livestreamed for all the world to see how tough we are. Will we have cheerleaders there? Concession stands? Pretty sure there will be merch sales. How low can we go?

Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev, who paid for part of Donald Trump Jr.’s extravagant wedding weekend, has said the president’s son has reimbursed him for it.
“Yes, he did,” Umar Kremlev told an International Boxing Association press conference in Istanbul on Tuesday. “He did repay the money I spent on the present.”
He added that he felt it was unnecessary for Don Jr. to have returned the money.
The economists pointed out in an opinion piece published by The New York Post that “median household incomes jumped to an all-time-high of $87,500 in 2025, while poverty rates fell to an all-time low.” The real median household income went up 2.6% to $87,460, the highest level since 1967 when adjusted for inflation. The economists also noted that the latest economic figures show that layoffs and jobless claims are currently at historically low levels.
