GREENE — Mary Christine Schipper, 69, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 25, 2026, after a five-year battle with cancer.
Born December 25, 1956, in Charles City, Mary’s life began with deep North Iowa roots. She later became known as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose memory will be cherished by the people who loved her.
Mary’s life is being honored through the family bonds, friendships and quiet strength that helped define her years. Her passing brings sorrow to loved ones, but also gratitude for the memories and legacy she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2026, at Woodley Funeral Home in Greene. A private family funeral service will be held.
