Coe Marcy Lytle was born on July 16, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, and was adopted by Rue and Elizabeth (Petersen) Fenholt. She grew up in Charles City, Iowa, and graduated from Charles City High School.
She was united in marriage to Robert Dean Lytle at the Little Brown Church on July 6, 1958. Together, they built their life in Charles City, where they raised their children.
Coe was a homemaker. Coe enjoyed the simple things in life, with time spent with family being undeniably her favorite. She enjoyed crocheting, specially making premature baby blankets and outfits that she donated to God’s Tiny Angels, and participating in craft shows around Iowa with her daughter Lyneen, where they shared their homemade ceramics. It was not unusual for every member of her family to receive matching crocheted hats and scarves for Christmas. She also enjoyed traveling to the mountains to visit family, camping, watching her great-grandson Keagan play hockey, going out to eat with her children, and just enjoying the sunshine. She never missed an opportunity to watch WWE wrestling, both in person and on television. One of her favorite memories was traveling around Europe with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: George Lytle of Charles City, Sandy Arispe of Forest City, Lyneen (Raymond) Ricke of Garner, and Sara (David) Cook of Cheyenne, Wyoming; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jeremy Arispe of Waterloo, Iowa, Alicia (Jon) Dlouhy and their children, Keagan and Colton of Polk City, Iowa, Garrison Cook of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Ashley (Kyle) Uhlenhopp and their children, Archer and Rynlee of Wellington, Colorado, John (Noelle) Ricke and their son, Lucas of Evansdale, Iowa, and Stephana Svehla of West Point, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lytle in 2005; her parents, Rue and Elizabeth Fenholt; her sister-in-law, Linda (Duwayne); and her brother-in-law, Wayne (Wanda).
