JONESBORO, ARKANSAS – The Iowa State Cyclones traveled to Jonesboro, Arkansas on Saturday to lock horns in Centennial Bank Stadium in front of 22,348 fans with Arkansas State, and once again defeated the Red Wolves, 24-16.
Iowa State leads the all-time series 2-0, with the two teams having met in each of the last two
seasons. ISU is 5-1 all-time against the Sun Belt.
Matt Campbell is now 68-51 at Iowa State and 103-66 overall as a head coach.
Kickoff temperature of 92 degrees is tied for the fifth-warmest in school history and the warmest
since 2019 at Baylor.
The Cyclones have won seven-straight games against non-conference opponents, the longest streak since winning 12-straight from 1998 to 2001.
Iowa State is 4-0 for the second-straight season, the first time doing so in program history. It is the 10th 4-0 start to a season in program history.
The Cyclones are 15-3 (.833) since the start of last season, ranking seventh in the nation in
winning percentage in that time.
ISU is 11-3 in its last 14 games away from home.

Miller. It is the longest active streak among Big 12 quarterbacks and fourth-longest in the nation among quarterback.
Passed Bret Meyer (2004-07) for second in school history with his 22nd victory as a starting
quarterback.
Extended his school record streak of games with a touchdown pass to 22, the longest active streak in FBS.
Has thrown a touchdown pass in 30 different games in his career, the sixth-most among active FBS quarterbacks.
Passed Jaylon Daniels (Kansas) for the active Big 12 lead in career passing yards with 7,550.

Finished with a career-high 116 yards rushing, the most by a Cyclone since Abu Sama III’s 237 yards at Kansas State in 2023.
His 38-yard run in the first half was his longest of the year and the longest rush by a Cyclone this season at the time.
ABU SAMA III
Scored his second rushing touchdown of the season and 10th of his career midway through the fourth quarter. The four-yard run was just the fourth rushing touchdown less than 50 yards in his career.
His 44-yard run in the third quarter was his longest run of the season and longest for a Cyclone this year.
XAVIER TOWNSEND
Caught a 44-yard pass in the fourth quarter, his longest as a Cyclone. His 35-yard reception earlier in the game had been his previous best at ISU.
Finished with a career-high 92 yards receiving.
CARSON BROWN
His 31-yard reception in the fourth quarter was his second reception of the season and the second longest of his career.
DOMINIC OVERBY
Caught 27-yard touchdown pass late in the first half. It was his second career touchdown reception.

Made his first career catch, a 14-yard gain in the first quarter.
TYLER MOORE
