Tricia Christena “Trish” Green, 55, lost her battle to cancer on July 13, 2025, after a short but courageous fight.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
Trish was born on September 10, 1969, to Terry and Jerry Rae (Grahlman) Green in Mason City, Iowa. She graduated from Mason City High School and began building a life with Dennis Ridder in 1988. Together, they had three children and raised their family in Mason City.
Trish started at Menards in August of 2002 as a cashier. Working her way up to assistant manager. In July of 2024 Trish received the promotion she had always wanted, office manager. A position where she made many friends whether coworkers or guests, Trish enjoyed them all.
Outside of work, Trish found joy in relaxing at home with her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed ghost hunting and loved the thrill of exploring the unknown. She always had a soft spot for German Shepherds, a bond that began in childhood when her parents raised them and remained with her throughout her life. Trish also took pride in cooking homemade meals and liked spending time on her electronics, whether browsing, gaming, listening to music or staying connected.
Those left to cherish her memory are her long time partner, Dennis Ridder Jr.; children, Alexis Ridder, Tyler (Samatha) Ridder; Zachary Ridder; grandchildren, Isabella, Alexander, Natalia and Emilio; father-in-law, Dennis Ridder Sr.; sisters-in-law; Marilyn (Dirk) Petersen and Marian Klein; as well as other extended family members and friends.
Trish is preceded in death by her parents, Terry and Jerry; brother, Tracy Green; mother-in-law, Elvira Ridder, and sister-in-law, Marlene Ridder.
