Gary Gene Brallier, age 89, of Rockford, IA passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City. Arrangements are with Fullerton Funeral Home.
A private family graveside will be held and Gary will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Gary was born April 9, 1936 to parents Merle and Ivis (Yerkes) Brallier. After serving in the US army, Gary married the love of his life Marlene Kornegor in Blair, Nebraska. The two made their home on a farm in Rockford where Gary farmed. Together they had two children, Dan and Dawn. Gary was active with the VFW.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two children, Daniel Brallier and his significant other Jodi Wendel of Mason City; daughter; Dawn (Linn) Wolf of Charles City; Grandchildren; Andrew (Jenna) Brallier, Sara (Roger) Blickenderfer, Ashley (Luke) Chatfield and Levi (Mercedes) Wolf; and several great grandchildren.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Marlene, and his siblings Dale Brallier, Tony Brallier, and Betty Fullerton.
