Emma Mostrom, 95, of Mason City, Iowa, passed away peacefully at the I.O.O.F Home in Mason City on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
The family will hold a private service.
Emma was born August 21, 1929, daughter of Jesús and Carmen (Trevino) Cumpian. She spent many years working at Curries Manufacturing. Emma loved to crochet in her spare time. She will be remembered for her strong will. Once her mind was set to something, that was how it was going to be and no force on earth was going to change it.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Mark (Cindy) Mostrom and Cindy (Richard) Lang; grandchildren, Mandi (Travis) Blakewell, Melissa (Brandon) Nicholson, Michelle Ann (Will) Cooper, Austin Lang, and Bethany Lang; great-grandchildren, Isabel, Jubilee, Genesis, Titus, Tobias, Zerik, Veda, Posey, Porter, Polly, Max, J Austin, Aurora, and Vincent; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Richard, parents, Jesús and Carmen; as well as three siblings.
