MASON CITY – The following are the expenses paid by Cerro Gordo county and Board of Supervisor meeting minutes for the period ending on January 6, 2025:

January 6, 2025
The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in regular session pursuant to adjournment. Present: Chairman Chris Watts, Vice Chairman Casey Callanan, Supervisor Carl Ginapp, and various members of the public.
Chairman Watts convened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve today’s agenda and the minutes for the January 2, 2025 Organizational Meeting and Regular Session. Motion passed unanimously.
Public comment session was held.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve claims. Motion passed unanimously.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve the Sheriff’s Monthly Report of Fees. Motion passed unanimously.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to approve reports from the Environmental Health Service Manager concerning Manure Management Plan Update for Tom Weaver (Weaver Finishing Site) (Site #57735) and forward to the DNR. Motion passed unanimously.
County Engineer Billings provided an update.
Callanan moved with Ginapp seconding, to approve final plans for HMA Resurfacing – Project LFM-S66(241)—7X17 and authorize the Board to sign. Motion passed unanimously.
Ginapp moved with Callanan seconding, to adjourn at 10:06 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.

The Board of Supervisors of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, met in special session pursuant to adjournment at 9:00 a.m. Present: Chairman Chris Watts, Vice Chairman Casey Callanan, Supervisor Carl Ginapp, and various members of the public.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss RFP for zoning rewrite consultant, review 457b retirement plan, and various building and grounds updates.
With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
