CEDAR FALLS – The UNI wrestling team will look to parlay its first dual win of the season on Sunday with another on Tuesday night as the Panther Train heads to Wisconsin to take on No. 9 Missouri in Big 12 action at Arrowhead High School in Hartland.

Live coverage of the dual can be found on UFC Fight Pass with a subscription, with live results also available on TrackWrestling.

Northern Iowa will battle the Tigers in the home high school gym of Missouri All-American Keegan O’Toole, located just 33 miles from the hometown of UNI’s Parker Keckeisen.

The Panther narrowly edged No. 13 South Dakota State in its first dual of the season by a 16-15 score after splitting all ten matches in straight decisions and winning the dual on criteria. Cael Happel (141 pounds), Ryder Downey (157 pounds), Parker Keckeisen (184 pounds) and Lance Runyon (heavyweight) all picked up victories for UNI, as did Cory Land (133 pounds) in his collegiate dual debut.

The Panthers hold a 22-16 dual record all-time against the Tigers and are 4-9 against Missouri under head coach Doug Schwab. UNI rolled past the Tigers last season in Cedar Falls with a 31-6 win inside the McLeod Center.

Anticipated matchups for Tuesday’s dual include a rematch between Keckeisen and Colton Hawks at 184 pounds. Keckeisen is 6-0 all-time against hawks having topped his Tiger opponent in their last three dual meetings and in the last two Big 12 Championships. Ryder Downey is expected to match up against James Conway at 157 in their first meeting since last year’s home dual, with Happel set to battle Josh Edmond at 141 with the series split at one win a piece.
