AMES – Iowa State clobbered Cincinnati, 34-17, Saturday night on MidAmerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.
Matt Campbell is now 61-50 at Iowa State and 96-65 overall as a head coach. Campbell’s 61 wins are the most in program history, as he passed Dan McCarney earlier this year.
The Cyclones are 5-0 in night games this season, including a 3-0 record at Jack Trice Stadium.
Iowa State has won eight games for the fourth time under Campbell and the 12th time in school history.
ISU has won five Big 12 games, guaranteeing a winning conference season for just the eighth time in Big 12 history (1996-present). Seven of them have come under Campbell.
Cincinnati’s 66 yards passing were the second-fewest Iowa State has allowed this year and the fourth game under 100 yards this season.

Rocco Becht
*Extended his school record streak of throwing a touchdown pass to 14-straight games.
*Moved into a tie for third in program history in wins by a quarterback with 15.
