WAUKON, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man died when he crashed his motorcycle in this small town.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place on October 5, 2024. At 11:58 AM that day, a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 37-year-old Adam J. Green of Sumner, Iowa, was eastbound on Highway 9 in Waukon, Iowa. At the same time, a 2008 SUV driven by 18-year-old Keira J. Miller of Waukon was westbound on Highway 9. The Patrol says that Green failed to yield when attempting to turn onto 9th Street SW and collided with the SUV.
As a result of the collision, Green was killed.
