Craig Allan Marr, son of Vincent and Wanda (Hanson) Marr was born on February 15, 1948 in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away on May 3, 2024 at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Spencer at the age of 76 years.

Craig Allan Marr, son of Vincent and Wanda (Hanson) Marr was born on February 15, 1948 in Estherville, Iowa. He passed away on May 3, 2024 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Spencer at the age of 76 years.

Craig attended and graduated from Estherville High School. He was drafted into the United States Army in October of 1969. He served in Vietnam from March of 1970 and returned home in March of 1971. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to Estherville. He met and married Rhonda Whitacre Lahr on March 20, 1998. The couple made their home in Estherville.

Craig enjoyed watching football, especially the Vikings. He also loved traveling and camping in many places.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda Marr of Estherville, his children Teri Laidig (Rick Buffington), Ryan (Chelsey) Lahr, and Alysa (Travis) Lee; his grandchildren Travis Laidig, Zach (Janet) Laidig, Dallas (Naomi) Lee, Kylee Heinrichs, Wyatt Lee, Wesley Lee, Liam Lahr, Brooke Lahr, and Hayden Lahr; and great grandchildren Eveie, Vaya, Remington, and Waylon. He is also survived by his siblings Terry (Julie) Marr and Rhonda R. Marr; sisters-in-law Sheryl Eades and Susan McKean.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his infant brother Randy Marr, brother Dennis Eades; and his father and mother-in-law John and Pauline Whitacre.
