Iowa Hawkeyes face UConn Huskies tonight in Final 4 game

CLEVELAND, OHIO - 1-Seed Iowa will face 3-Seed UConn in the National Semifinal of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (CT) inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be televised on ESPN.

CLEVELAND, OHIO – 1-Seed Iowa will face 3-Seed UConn in the National Semifinal of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (CT) inside Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be televised on ESPN.

Iowa is led by National Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark.  Clark is turning pro after this season and already has been tied to the USA National team.  Senior Sharon Goodman was honored for having the highest GPA of any player in Final 4.

THE SERIES
» The Huskies lead the all-time series, 6-3.
» In the last meeting, UConn beat Iowa in the Phil Knight Classic in Portland, 86-79.
» Paige Bueckers led the Huskies back to the Final Four after scoring 28 points and lift- ing UConn to a 80-73 win over Southern California.

SCOUTING UCONN
» This is the Huskies’ 23rd National Semifinal, the most of any school.
» UConn is 7-1 on a neutral floor this season.
» Connecticut’s path: 14-Seed Jackson State, 6-Seed Syracuse, 7-Seed Duke, and 1-Seed Southern Cal.

Winner of this game faces with South Carolina or North Carolina State.
