Connie Sue Rossiter, 63, of Mason City, Iowa passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Good Shepherd Health Center.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Hanford Community Church or MercyOne Hospice of North Iowa.
Connie was born August 10, 1960 in Mason City, daughter of Carrol and Yvonne (Clark) Rossiter. She graduated from Nora Springs Rockfalls High School with the class of 1979 and joined the Job Corps in Utah shortly thereafter. Connie worked on the Avenue of the Saints as an equipment operator and followed that line of construction work for a number of years. She loved being outdoors and working with her hands. She took pride in helping her father tend the family farm. Dedicating her time and hard work to it meant a lot to her. Connie also enjoyed getting away for a while and taking her motorcycle out for a ride now and again. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she enjoyed any moment spent with them. Over the years she also loved the company of dogs.
Connie is survived by her father, Carrol; siblings, Carmen Langford of Sacramento, California, Christy Rossiter of Mason City, and Charles Rossiter of Mason City; as well as many beloved extended family members and cherished friends.
Preceding her in death are her mother, Yvonne; brother-in-law, Jim Langford; and Christy’s late fiancé, Dan Chizek.
