Cynthia Marie Cox was born on March 19, 1953. At the age of two she was adopted by Dr. Russell and Alice (Oliva) Cox. She passed away at Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville on February 22, 2024 at the age of 70.
Cindy graduated from Spirit Lake High School and was employed at area businesses throughout the years, most notably at Good Samaritan Nursing Home as a CNA. Cindy enjoyed crafting and coloring in adult coloring books.
Cindy is survived by her siblings Gloria (Ken) Swanson, Marvin (Faith) Cox, Delbert (Karen) Cox, Leo (Tracy Brock) Cox, David (Diana) Cox, Leo (Donna) Billmeier, Linda Dirkx and Beverly (Sheldon) Bartruff. and many nieces and nephews.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Billmeier.
Graveside services for Cindy will take place at a later date at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery in Spirit Lake.
