IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa baseball team’s three-game series against Florida International will take place Principal Park in Des Moines on May 16, 17 and 18.

Iowa’s season opener is Friday, February 16, against Seton Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.
Iowa had a breakout season last year, featuring a 44-16 overall record and a 15-8 mark in Big Ten play. Iowa finished in third place in the regular season. Iowa played Maryland in the Big Ten Tournament championship but lost, 4-0
Iowa played in their sixth NCAA Tournament in school history.
This upcoming season, Iowa will feature a player from Mason City Newman High School, Max Burt.
