Kelly Jo Swanson, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday April 20, 2024 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City. Following the service at 12:00 pm there will be a gathering until 2:00 pm also at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel. In honor of Kelly’s love for the Green Bay Packers guests are encouraged to wear their attire or team colors.
Family suggests that memorials be directed to the Humane Society of North Iowa and or the Wounded Warriors Project.
Kelly was born on July 27, 1962 the daughter of Stanley and Evonne (Hagen) Witham. She was a graduate of Mason City High School’s Class of 1980. Throughout her life she worked various positions in the financial industry and most recently were at Fanduel Sportsbook and Schukei Chevrolet. Kelly’s life revolved around her loved ones, work and the Green Bay Packers.
She supported the Green Bay Packers going beyond mere fandom by becoming a partial owner. Lambeau Field held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the numerous trips she took to the stadium. Cruising in her Volkswagen Bug Convertible was another way she liked to pass time. Kelly, with her infectious laugh and kind heart, radiated joy wherever she went, truly living life to the fullest. As a grandmother, the time spent with her grandchildren brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Those left to cherish memories of Kelly are her daughter, Sara Titus (Vuong Nayima); grandchildren, Jasper and Violet Manuel; her parents, Stanley (Shirley) Witham, and Evonne
Witham; siblings, Kim Witham, and Tom (Michelle) Witham; nephew, Alex (Annie) Witham, and Molly (Kyle) Witham; longtime friend, Jim McGowan; as well as her cat, Aaron Rodgers.
Kelly is preceded in death by her nephew, Zachary Witham; and her step father, Jim Kofoot.
