Michael David “Mike” Snook, 59, of Mason City, IA, passed away September 20th, 2023.
Mike was born on December 3rd, 1963 in Mason City; the son of David Leonard and Janice Ann (Willemsen) Snook. He attended Mason City Schools and earned his GED. Mike worked a number of jobs over the years, including Winnebago, waste management for the city of Mason City, cement truck driver for for Yohn Ready Mix and other carpenter and factory jobs.
Mike was skilled at fixing things and enjoyed spending his free time doing so. He liked camping and fishing, bonfires and enjoying the weather when it was nice out. He took pride in his grandchildren and adored his dog, Misty, and cat, Tucker. Mike loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family and numerous friends.
Mike is survived by his children, Jennifer Snook of Mason City and Jason Wilson of Charles City; grandchildren, Kaylin Patten, Dustin Kenyon, Davin Wilson, and Dixie Wilson; sister, Kim Ellman; beloved pets, Misty and Tucker; as well as many other beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
Mike was preceded in death by his sons, David “Dave” Snook and Dustin “Dut” Wilson; and his parents, David and Janice Snook.

Mike was one of a kind….and a great friend for the past 40+ years. I am going to miss stopping over to visit and catch up on the latest news, and just hanging out. Things will never be the same without you in our lives! I hope you are finally with” the boys” and some of your buddies that passed before you……I’ll see you when it’s my turn Mike….until then, RIP my friend. Love ya!
