MESERVEY – A Meservey man suffered minor injuries this morning after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.
On September 14, 2023, at approximately 1:06 AM, the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle accident. Jordan Ronald Currier, age 29 of Meservey, was traveling west in the 1000 block of Cerro Gordo / Maryland Street when Currier lost control of his vehicle causing him to go into the north ditch, striking a utility pole. Air bags did deploy. Currier was seen by the Mason City Fire Department EMS for minor injuries and released at the scene.
Currier received a citation for failure to maintain control.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by MCFD EMS, Meservey Fire Department, Bonnstetter Towing and Alliant Energy.
