Diane Loux, 75, of Sheffield, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023 at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.
Diane grew up in Iowa Falls, until moving to Clarion in 1964 where she met her future husband, Raymond Loux. After graduating high school in 1965 she married Raymond on September 19, 1966, starting the long adventures of their lives together. After raising two children together, Diane took to the road traveling from state to state with the love of her life. There were very few states they had not visited together. Diane had a passion for reading her thick books, collecting antique pieces of pink depression glass, and could often be found making counted cross stitch blankets for the newest grandchild or great grandchild as well as other patterns. She was always trying new recipes from her growing collection of cookbooks, from vegetarian to gourmet.
Diane is survived in death by her husband Raymond Loux, sister Ruth and husband Jim Winker, brother Rick and wife Tina Reagan, daughter Kristen Loux, grandchildren Johnathan and wife Patricia, Emily, and Donnica Keeling, great grandchildren Caroline Odem, Vivianna and Andrez Hernandez, son Allen and spouse Lisa Loux, grandchildren Cody, Jake, Zachery, Riley,and Samuel Loux, great grandchildren Jayson, Ava, Alesia, Berkleigh Loux, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by daughter Mary Elizabeth Loux, brother Marlyn Howard Reagan, mother Harriet (Hillhouse) Reagan, and father Keith Reagan.
