Steven Eugene Tow, was born at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on June 1, 1957 to Ordean and LaVonne (Pedersen) Tow. He passed away at his home in Ringsted, Iowa on June 3, 2023 at the age of 66 years.
Steve graduated from Ringsted High School in 1975. He then attended college at Buena Vista College and Iowa Lakes Community College. Steve married Monica Stensby in 1985, their marriage later dissolved, but they remained friends.
Steve was a salesman and manager at part’s stores in both Jackson and St. Cloud, Minnesota. While in St. Cloud he lived with his former partner, Val Dahlke. In November of 2022 he returned to live in Ringsted.
Steve was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ringsted. He was currently a member of United Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his mother LaVonne Tow, his sister Lucinda (Marty) Kane, his nieces Andrea Bradeen and Heather Winterfeld; nephew, Zachary Kane; great-nephew, Solomon Winterfeld all of Ringsted, Iowa.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Ordean Tow, grandparents, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
