Man who shot two people in Iowa nabbed by U.S. Marshalls and multiple police departments

CEDAR RAPIDS - A man who shot two people in Iowa was nabbed by U.S. Marshalls and multiple police departments.

CEDAR RAPIDS – A man who shot two people in Iowa was nabbed by U.S. Marshalls and multiple police departments.

On April 18, 2023 Burlington, Iowa police detectives, assisted by U.S. Marshals and Cedar Rapids Police Department, located Kejonte Daishawn King, age 19, outside a residence in Cedar Rapids. King had a warrant for his arrest stemming from a shooting in which two people were shot in Burlington on March 24, 2023. King was taken into custody and charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent, possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of willful injury.

The Burlington Police Department were assisted in this investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service, Cedar Rapids Police Department, Mt. Pleasant Police Department, Iowa City Police Department an Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office.
