In the months following the murder of Montreail Dungy on December 25, 2022, investigators with the Fort Dodge Police Department, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Webster County Attorney’s Office have been working tirelessly to reach a resolution for Mr. Dungy’s family and all of those impacted by Mr. Dungy’s murder.

Over the course of the last few months, investigators have been following up on numerous leads stemming from information being provided by community members as well as other investigative leads.

As a result of those efforts put forth by both the community and investigators, arrest warrants have been issued for the following offenders:

– Lakendrick A. Mosley, 31 of Des Moines, Iowa, on a charge of Murder in the First Degree (Class A Felony). Mosley is described as 5’9” tall and weighing 145 pounds. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Mosley, they are encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.

– Darwin L. Green, 27 of Fort Dodge, Iowa, on a charge of Aiding and Abetting Murder in the First Degree (Class A Felony). Green is described as 6’0” tall and weighing 199 pounds. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Green, they are encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.

Although arrest warrants have been issued, the investigation is still on‐going. Police said they will not be releasing any specific details of the investigation at this time.

Investigators are continuing to follow up on information, and we continue to encourage those who may have information to contact the Fort Dodge Police Department or Webster County Crime Stoppers.

Throughout this investigation, the Fort Dodge Police Department has been assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the Division of Criminal Investigation Criminalistics Laboratory, the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, the Fort Dodge Fire Department, the Iowa Department of Correctional Services, and the Webster County Attorney’s Office.
