Clear Lake- William Paul Duit 71, died Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at his home.
A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday March 18, 2023, at Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 310 1st Ave. North, Clear Lake, with Lay Minister Vanessa Williamson officiating.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Cottage Cemetery, Iowa Falls, Iowa.
William was born October 5, 1951, in Hampton, Iowa the son of LaVern Fredrick and Vera Caroline (Fuhrman) Duit. William worked as a farm-hand for over 60 years and did carpentry work.
William is survived by his guardian Robert (Vanessa) Williamson and their family Robby Williamson, Jacob (Sierra) Williamson and their children; Dawson, Dezarae and Dililah, James Williamson, Abigail Williamson and Timothy Williamson; siblings Troy Duit and Marla (Matt) Sudderberg.
William is preceded in death by his parents LaVern and Vera Duit; brother Jay Duit and sister Andrea Duit.
