Bradley Paul Morud, 68, passed away in his Mason City, IA home on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

Family will be holding a Private Service at a later date.

Bradley was born on February 25, 1954, the son of John “Herb” and Carol (Johnson) Morud of Mason City, IA. He was a graduate of Mason City High School’s Class of 1972. On June 8, 1974, Bradley married Susan Winter in Nora Springs, IA. Together the couple had two boys, Adam and Nick. Bradley spent his career as a mechanic, spending 22 years at Berry Machine Shop. He was able to successfully retire from Ziegler four years ago, after 25 years.

In his free time he enjoyed tinkering in his shop at home, and gardening. Being a father and grandfather is what fulfilled Bradley’s life. One of his favorite things to do with his grandchildren was to take them camping at home. Although he was particular about his lawn and his overgrown trees, he didn’t mind when the grandkids occasionally tore it up with the lawn mower or the go kart.

Those left to cherish memories of Bradley are his wife of 48 years, Susan; sons, Adam (Amber) Morud, and Nick (Marie) Morud; grandchildren, Macy, Maddy, Jackson, and Kelsey Morud; and brothers, David (Joyce) Morud and Kurt (Gloria) Morud.

Bradley is preceded in death by both of his parents.
