HAWKEYE, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man is accused of an intimate relationship with a minor female and faces serious charges.
After a week-long investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s office claims that 26-year-old Kian Lee Halverson, of Hawkeye, Iowa, was found to be in a relationship with a minor female. As a result, a warrant was issued and Halverson was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual abuse.
Halverson was later released on a $25,000.00 bond.
If convicted, Halverson could spend up to 25 years in prison and be required to register on the state sex offender registration for life.
