Patrick “Pat” James Jeffrey, 59 of Rockwell, died Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
A celebration of life will start at 3:00 Pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Rockwell Legion. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Patrick James was born on February 17, 1963 in Charles City, Iowa. He was the youngest child of Roger Jeffrey and Shirley Mosher (Jeffrey, Sturges). He graduated from Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Community Schools with the class of 1981. He later graduated from the IT classes at Kaplan University. His early career was at Alexander Battery in Mason City and then worked in the IT department of FRC for many years. Pat also owned and operated All Around Sound that provided DJ music for weddings and other events, He had two hobbies that he enjoyed, pool league and stock car racing. He would travel to tournaments and national races. He followed football and basketball especially the Iowa Hawkeyes. Pat also worked and made many many friends at the Rockwell Legion.
Those left to cherish Pat’s life are his sister Pam and her husband Mike Ryner of Nora Springs, brother Randy and his wife Denise Jeffrey, Rockford, his half-brother Johnny Juhl of Minnesota, six nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and his best friend and side kick Wayne Schubert and many many friends that he enjoyed playing pool and listening his music.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother and his wife Nick and Sandy Jeffrey.
The family wishes to Thank Wayne for his undying friendship and brotherhood. And to all who helped him along the way over the years as roadies or pool partners and co-workers. Also to all at Mercy One North Iowa, those at West Campus, Dr. Congello and his team for their care and comfort during his “long stays” with you.
