Benjamin Hector, 44, of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away January 25, 2023.
A private service for Benjamin Hector will be held for immediate family only. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Benjamin Jarrad Hector was born August 14, 1978 and was the son of Richard and Rhonda (Hummel) Hector. He attended school in Charles City, graduating in 1997.
Benjamin joined the Air Force after graduation where he proudly served his country from 1998 to 2007. When he was honorably discharged from the Air Force, he pursued a career in Information Technology (IT). He was currently employed with Prairie Care Hospital Facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Benjamin loved the outdoors. His happy place was the cabin. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, boating, and most of all spending time with his boys, family, and friends. He was one of a kind. He had an infectious smile and a heart of gold. He always would see the good in people and never was one to judge.
Benjamin is survived by his children: Aedan and Quentin Hector of Nashua; parents, Richard and Rhonda Hector of Charles City; sister, Emily (Brandon) Houdek of Charles City; nephews: Skylar Houdek, Jaxon Houdek, and Isaac Houdek of Charles City; along with many extended family and friends.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herman and Evelyn Hector; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Hummel; uncles: Dennis Hummel, Gary Hummel, Joe Hagarty, Jim Hector; and cousin, Eric Hagarty.
