IOWA FALLS – The NIACC men’s wrestling team topped Ellsworth 30-19 in an ICCAC dual meet Monday.
NIACC picked up wins from 197-pounder Drew Fox and 285-pounder Jacob Leohr. The Trojans also gained forfeits at 125, 141, 149 and 157.
Fox (4-2) gained a 3-1 win in sudden victory over Ellsworth’s Isaiah Laguna. Leohr (3-6) topped the Panthers’Tegan Carson 7-5.
Winning by forfeit for the Trojans were Cruz Aguilar (125), Isaac Church (141), Tanner Chase Warden (149) and Irvin Gomez (157).
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against Iowa Western. The dual meet in the NIACC recreation center is slated to start at 7 p.m.
