Dwayne Lester Winters, 75, of Mason City, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Hospice of North Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the First Christian Church, Mason City. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Boostrum.
Dwayne Lester Winters, 75, died with sons at bedside, January 11 2023, at the Hospice of North Iowa residence.
Dwayne was born on December 23, 1947 to Alice & Lester Winters in Iowa Falls, Iowa. He married Glenda Marshall on July 31, 1971 He is the father of Brett Winters, a Pastor in Surprise, Arizona and Scott Winters, a Hospital Chaplain in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is the Father-in-law of Trish Thompson Winters. He is the grandfather of Zoe Winters, Liam Winters grand-cat Lena and grand-dog Beignet.
His surviving siblings include sister Sandra Winters Runde, Brother-in-Law Dick Runde, Sister-in-law Rhonda Janka, Brother-in-law Gary Marshall. He is the Uncle of Dan Leaman, Kara Leaman Dare and Arin Marshall.
Dwayne was proceeded in death by his Father Lester Winters, mother Alice Winters, Brother Ron Winters, brother-in-law John Marshall, Mother-in -law Pearl Marshall, Father-in-law Glen Marshall and wife of 51 years Glenda Winters.
He had an active faith and was an active member of First Christian Church of Mason City.
Dwayne is already missed and will be remembered in many ways.
