Margaret Ellen Miller, 74, of Manly, IA, passed away unexpectedly January 9, 2023 at her home in Manly.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Bethel United Methodist Church with Reverend Cory Allard officiating.

Margaret was born December 10, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Joseph and Alfredia (Forsberg) Bradshaw. Their family moved to Santa Ana, CA, and she graduated from high school there. She met Timothy Miller on a blind date. He proposed to her that very evening and they married April 10, 1967 in Santa Ana. They were partners in everything and even worked with the police explorers to train up future officers. Together they also traveled across the country, on company expense no less.

Margaret was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her family shared many memories in their home together. Margaret inherited her uncle’s pen and pencil collection and with it, a love for collecting herself. Her family will continue to grow her collection in her stead. For the last 30 years, it has been a tradition to hide a small Waldo figure throughout their home; with rules to make it fair for all ages.

Margaret is survived by daughters, Barbara (Butch) McKnight, of Crestline, CA, Cheryl Baird of Manly, and Andrea (Robert) Enderson of Algona, IA; grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Tamra Miller, Deanna (Garrett) West, Rebecca (Alexander) Buehrle, Dakotah Miller, Sarah (Nate) Newton, Oliviah Miller, and Lillian Roseberry; great grandchildren, Angela, Nikki, and Junior, with baby Maverick and baby Gwen on the way; brothers, Joseph Bradshaw, Donald Bradshaw, Alfred (Linda) Bradshaw, David (Lynn) Bradshaw, and Franky (Seriah) Bradshaw; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Tim, April 24, 2010; parents; and sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Phyllis.
