WATERLOO – Cops nabbed a suspect after two people were shot at a Waterloo strip club.
According to Waterloo police, on December 31, 2022, at 12:10 AM, Waterloo police officers responded to a shooting that occurred at Flirts Gentleman’s Club at 319 Jefferson Street. Two victims arrived at local hospitals with non-life threatening wounds. Shell casings and a firearm were recovered. Throughout the investigation, officers identified one subject who was involved in the shooting as 26-year-old Oshea Taelly Wright, of Waterloo, Iowa.
On January 3, 2023, Wright was arrested by Violent Crime Apprehension Team Detectives for possession of a firearm by felon. Days later, Wright was also charged with C felony intimidation with a dangerous weapon and two counts of felony F willful injury.
