ROCKWELL – Firefighters in Rockwell were recently honored with awards.
The Rockwell Community Fire Department announced that at a gathering over the weekend, some of its top firefighters were recognized for their service to the department and the community.
“We also took time to acknowledge some of our members for their hard work and dedication,” the department said in a statement. Recognized were:
Manny Randle – Firefighter of the Year (pictured, left)
Jon Roberts – Top Responder (pictured, center)
Dylan Williams – Most Improved Firefighter (pictured, right)
Gary Akins – 15 years of service
In 2022, Rockwell Community Fire Department responded to 54 calls for service. With the communities’ continued support, we were able to put new MSA SCBA’s, fire hose, and TNT Extrication Tools into service!
