Women’s College Basketball: No. 10 Iowa defeats Wisconsin, 102-71

With the win, Lisa Bluder tied C. Vivian Stringer for the most Big Ten regular season conference wins (233).

All-American Caitlin Clark broke the Big Ten record most triple-doubles in a career. She surpassed Sam Logic with the seventh in her career.

Clark finished the game with 22 points, 10 boards, and 10 assists.

The Hawkeyes have beaten the Badgers 26 times in a row.

In eight out the last 10 matchups, Iowa has beat Wisconsin by 10 or more points.

It was Iowa’s fifth win this year by double digits.

Iowa has won its last three Big Ten regular season openers.

Madison, Wisconsin native, McKenna Warnock had 11 points (3-3 3FG) in the first quarter to give Iowa a 25-20 advantage.

Caitlin Clark
All-American Caitlin Clark recorded 20 or more points for the ninth time this season.

It was Clark’s 29th double-double of her career and third of the season.

Clark leads the country in points, points per game, free throws, and free throw attempts.

Clark is the only player in the nations with more than 240 points, 60 rebounds, 50 assists, and five steals.

Monika Czinano led the Hawkeyes in shooting percentage going 9-10 from the floor. She finished with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Molly Davis recorded a season-high 13 points. She was a perfect on the day shooting 5-5 from the floor and 3-3 from behind the arc.

Sharon Goodman set a season-high with four points.

Hannah Stuelke recorded 10 points and four boards.

In the first half, Iowa scored 57 points which one point shy of its Big Ten game record it set at Northwestern on Jan. 29, 2015.

Iowa led for 37:17 of the game.

Iowa shot a season-best 3-point percentage shooting 52% from deep. (12-23)

The Hawkeyes had five players register double figures.

Iowa had 11 players register points on Sunday.

13 Hawkeyes saw action against UW.

Marks the seventh time this season Iowa has scored 80 or more points.

Fourth time the Hawkeyes have scored 90 or more points.

Clark moved up to 4th all-time in points and has 1,916 in her career. Czinano moved into 5th all-time with 1,907 career points.

Clark now ranks 4th all-time at Iowa with 233 career 3-pointers. Warnock now has 141 career 3-pointers which has her ranked 13th all-time.
