Nicholas Moe, age 37 of Algona, passed away at the Kossuth Regional Health Center on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Cynthia Finn officiating at Lentz Funeral Home in Algona. Service will be live streamed via this link: https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/nicholas-moe. Nicholas Dwight Moe, the son of Bruce and Laurie (Kirchner) Moe, was born on January 22, 1985 in Algona. He graduated from Algona High School in 2003. Nicholas had worked as a CNA at Algona Good Samaritan Care Center and as a dance instructor at Dance Connection by Michelle. He enjoyed dancing and teaching dance, listening to music and spending time with his dog Ella.
Left to cherish Nicholas’s memory are his parents, Bruce and Laurie; siblings, Melissa Moe Ricke and her partner Jamie Schoenherr of Hartford, SD, Nathaniel (Molly) Moe of Hiedelburg, MN, Mandy Moe of Algona and Neil (Angie) Moe of Mason City; grandmother, Pastor Karen Dearchs; many nieces and nephews; and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
