NIACC men’s XC team ranked 20th in latest poll

MASON CITY - The NIACC men's cross country team is ranked 20th in the second NJCAA Division II rankings by the USTFCCCA.

MASON CITY – The NIACC men’s cross country team is ranked 20th in the second NJCAA Division II rankings by the USTFCCCA.

The Trojans were ranked 13th in the initial poll in the last week of September.

Lansing CC (Michigan) is ranked first for the second straight poll. Heartland CC (Illinois) is ranked second and Mesa CC (Ariz.) is ranked third.

Southeastern is ranked No. 19 and Hawkeye CC is ranked 23rd.

NIACC returns to action Saturday at Mount Mercy’s Seminole Valley Stampede at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids. The meet starts at 9:45 a.m.
